Recreational Lodging Campground

The Recreational Lodging Campground office is located inside Bldg. V-4113 on Sigsbee Park. The campground consists of 93 full hook-up sites and over 500 dry and camping sites on Sigsbee Park, Trumbo Point and Truman Annex. The Trumbo Point area is only open seasonally: mid-October through April. Amenities include coin-operated laundry machines and shower facilities on all three annexes. Active duty, their dependents, and reservists can make reservations 1 year in advance. Retired military, their dependents, eligible veterans, DoD civilians and retired DoD civilians can make reservations 6 months in advance. Reservations can be made for a total of 90 days for months that are currently open during season between October 1 - March 31. 12 months in advance for active duty, their dependents, and reservists. 6 months in advance for retired military, their dependents, eligible veterans, DoD civilians, and retired DoD civilians. 

Reservations can be made for any number of days during off season between April 1 - September 30 for months that are currently open.  12 months in advance for active duty, their dependents, and reservists. 6 months in advance for retired military, their dependents, eligible veterans, DoD civilians, and retired DoD civilians. 

If reservations are desired for months further out than 6 months or 12 months you can call to extend your reservation on the 1st of the following month at 8 a.m. EST. 

Active duty, their dependents, and reservists can make reservations 12 months in advance by calling 877-NAVY-BED or go online to www.DoDLodging.net. For example, at 8 a.m. EST on May 1 these patrons can call and make a reservation for anytime through May 31 the following year.

Retired military, their dependents, eligible veterans, DoD civilians, and retired DoD civilians can make reservations 6 months in advance. For example, at 8 a.m. EST on May 1 these patrons can call 877-NAVY-BED or go online to www.DoDLodging.net and make reservations for anytime through November 30 of the current year. On June 1 at 8 a.m. EST you can call and extend your reservation for anytime through December 31. On July 1 at 8 a.m. EST you can call and extend your reservation for anytime through January 31, but not to exceed a total of 90 days. Eligible veterans should select "patron expansion" under purpose of visit on DodLodging.net.
